AI School Labs is a family of AI-powered education tools designed to make AI useful in classrooms — without the steep learning curve.

We offer two specialized labs:

• AI Teacher Labs — 50+ tools for lesson plans, worksheets, behavior plans, parent letters, assessments, and interactive teaching aids.
• AI Student Labs — 30 tools to help students with homework, studying, writing, projects, and learning support.

Instead of staring at a blank ChatGPT box wondering what to type, you fill out a simple form (or chat with a friendly prompt builder), and the right prompt is created for you. Then you can either generate the result right here, or copy the prompt to ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot if you prefer.

ChatGPT is a blank canvas. Powerful, but you have to know exactly what to ask, how to phrase it, and how to structure your request to get useful output. That's a lot of mental work — especially for teachers who are short on time, or students who are still learning.

AI School Labs does the prompt-building for you. Every tool is tuned for a specific educational task — say, a Grade 5 behavior plan, or a Grade 9 essay revision. You answer a few simple questions, and you get a high-quality, well-structured prompt that produces consistent, classroom-appropriate results.

Three things you get here that ChatGPT alone won't give you:

• Educator-designed prompts built by teachers who know what good classroom output looks like.
• Grade-level and subject-area tuning — the same tool produces different output for Grade 2 vs. Grade 10.
• Save and reuse — keep your favorite prompts and saved chats organized in one place.

And if you already love ChatGPT or another AI tool? Just copy the prompt over. Same quality output, your choice of platform.

Each lab has a friendly "duo" — one helper builds your prompt, the other gets the work done.

For teachers (AI Teacher Labs):

• Ada 👩‍💻 is the prompt builder. She chats with you to figure out what you need — grade level, topic, goals — and builds your prompt step by step. Prefer a form? Teachers can also fill in a quick form instead of chatting with Ada.
• Sage 🧙‍♀️ is the AI assistant. Once the prompt is ready, Sage generates your lesson plan, worksheet, behavior plan, or whatever you've asked for — right on the page.

For students (AI Student Labs):

• Quill 🦉 is the prompt builder. He chats with students to understand what they're working on, and builds a clear, age-appropriate prompt one step at a time.
• Chip 🤖 is the AI assistant. Once Quill's prompt is ready, Chip jumps in to explain, practice, quiz, or help with whatever the student is studying.

You don't have to remember who's who — each tool tells you which helpers are involved. Just answer the questions, and the duo handles the rest.

Either works — your choice.

Use our built-in AI (Sage for teachers, Chip for students) when you want everything in one place. No copy-pasting, no switching tabs, and you can save the conversation to come back to later.

Use your own AI tool (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude.ai, etc.) when you have a preferred platform or your school provides one. Every tool on AI School Labs has a "Copy Prompt" button — copy it, paste it into your AI of choice, done.

The prompts are identical either way. The output quality depends on the AI model you use, but the prompt itself was crafted by educators to produce the best possible results regardless of platform.

Not at all. If you can fill out a form or send a text message, you can use AI School Labs.

You don't need to learn prompt engineering, write code, or understand how AI works under the hood. Just answer the questions in each tool — grade level, topic, any specific needs — and you'll get a polished result.

AI Student Labs has 30 tools designed for two age groups: grades 4–8 (JR, 10 tools) and 9–12 (SR, 20 tools). Topics include:

• Homework support: reading helpers, math/science feedback, citation helpers
• Writing: essay help, rewrites, creative writing, email and cover letter helpers
• Projects: project planners, topic helpers, resource finders

All student tools are designed to support learning, not replace it — explanations, practice, and guidance instead of finished assignments. Browse them all at AI Student Labs.

Yes! Both labs have a My Prompts feature. Anytime you build a prompt — for a behavior plan, a quiz, a study guide — you can save it with one click and reuse it later. Saved prompts work across all tools, not just the one you saved them from.

This is great for teachers who use the same kind of lesson plan template every week, or students who want to keep their favorite study guide formats handy.

Find your saved prompts under My Prompts in the top navigation of either lab.

Yes — and it's one of the most useful features for multi-session work.

For teachers: Sage Chats. Click "Sage Chats" in the top navigation of AI Teacher Labs to see your saved conversations with Sage. Star the ones worth keeping; auto-save catches anything you forget to save.

For students: Chip Chats. Same feature in AI Student Labs. Click "Chip Chats" in the top navigation to see saved conversations with Chip.

Both hubs let you search, filter by tool, rename, delete, and most importantly — Continue. Click Continue on any saved chat and the conversation picks up right where you left off, with Sage or Chip remembering everything. Great for projects that span multiple days or sessions.

Your chats are private to your account. No one else sees them — not other students, not teachers, not us.

Yes! Both Chip and Sage support voice in two ways:

• Voice input: Click the microphone button to speak your message instead of typing.
• Voice output: Click "Listen" on any AI response to have it read aloud — helpful for accessibility, for younger readers, or for multitasking.

Voice features work in most modern browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox). On Chip's side, they're tuned to be friendly and age-appropriate.
